LENOX — The Montessori School of the Berkshires’ is inviting one lucky winner to participate in a week of their summer program for free.
“Making Music,”a session for 6 to 12 year olds of all musical abilities, takes place from July 28 through Aug. 1 under the direction of Dr. Andrea Goodman, founder and director of the Cantilena Chamber Choir. Participants will spend the week immersed in music as they sing, play instruments, explore music notations, and utilize innovative music software. The program is conducted (pun intended) at MSB in Lenox Dale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, and will include a field trip to Tanglewood. Be prepared to move, learn new songs, and bring music to the outdoors!
To enter all you have to do is “Like” MSB’s Facebook page and/or share this post (be sure to tag Berkshire Family Focus though or let us know via a Facebook post or email to firstname.lastname@example.org that you’d like to be entered if you are not on social media), by next Tuesday, July 8, at 11:59 p.m. EST. A winner will be drawn at random from all the entries and announced on our site and on Facebook on Wednesday, July 9. The prize must be claimed within 24 hours or another winner will be drawn. Note: The winning participant must be entering grades 1 through 6 in the fall.
