Mamie Minch will play at MASS MoCa March 9 at 8 p.m. in the museum’s Club B-10 and Berkshire Family Focus has tickets to give away.
NORTH ADAMS — Congratulations Samantha Crittendon you are the winner of the second family four-pack of tickets to Mamie Minch at MASS MoCa on March 9, as well as a family four-pack of museum passes to be used at any time of your choosing.
Who is Mamie Minch? One of the youngest old-school blues guitarists and singers at just 32, Mamie Minch sings and plays songs of her own devising that sound like they’ve been stored in her old National guitar for decades. Raised on the music of John Hurt, Reverend Gary Davis, and Memphis Minnie, Minch can sometimes sound like her predecessors, but don’t mistake her for a revivalist — she is most definitely a product of her own time.
And guess what? We have more tickets to give away. To win the last set of tickets ( a family four-pack, plus a four-pack of passes to the museum valued at $80, that do not have to be used on the same day) all you have to tell us is which MASS MoCA Kidspace exhibit is on view at MASS at all times in North Adams. (Hint: The answer can be found here.) Answer below in the comment section (mind you, you’ll be giving away the answer to others) or send an email to info@berkshirefamilyfocus.com by Wednesday, March 6, at noon. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, March 6.
Good luck and … “May the odds be ever in your favor!”

After calling the Kidspace at Mass Moca and asking for help which involved us both reviewing your website and theirs:it was concluded that the bus spot exhibit is the only art object that will remain continuously on display. Hope this was the correct answer, although the staff were greatly stumped but the question them self. I have alo realized that I missed the deadline which is disappointing as we will be host an exchange student that arrives a day earlier from Japan for the weekend and I think this would be a great experience for them to enjoy. Let me know if there are still any free tickets. Thanks Lelia.
Leila it was bus stop … Mamie Minch may be over but we have tickets for the International Family Film Series for Saturday … Check the site for details.
