NORTH ADAMS — Beginning Thursday, Oct. 18, The Family Place in North Adams will host a 24-7 Dad group for Berkshire County father’s to discuss and support members through the challenges and obstacles that come with being a father in today’s world
The group is free and will run for approximately 12 weeks, every Thursday, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the 61 Main St., Suite 208, North Adams location. The group is a collaboration of the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition and the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office Fatherhood Initiative and will cover such topics as: getting support on how to be the dad you want to be; building connections with other dads, discussing and overcoming obstacles and challenges in parenting children today; what kind of dad participants had and how that relates to their role of dad now; and more.
