Canterbury Farm Nordic Center provides a family oriented environment with maintained groomed and tracked cross country ski trails, snowshoe trails, and ice skating pond. New rental equipment for skiing,snow shoes, and ice skates are interchangeable for one low rentalfee. Lessons in all of the winter sports given by caring and professional instructors. Warm lodge with soups, sandwiches, and drinks available. Sunday morning nature tours with Dave taking groups out to learn about the Beaver ponds, woods, and lake environments and the special animal habitats. Since 1937 the Mount Greylock Ski Club has operated its own small ski area in South Williamstown, Massachusetts. Nowadays our club offers a very affordable way for families to enjoy uncrowded downhill skiing and telemark skiing on weekends and holidays. Our trails range from easy meadows for beginners to twisty runs through the woods for more accomplished skiers. We always welcome new members.

Notchview is renowned for its Nordic skiing, Notchview also entices year-round adventurers for hiking and birdwatching. With more than 3,000 acres of rolling terrain, Notchview offers an idyllic escape for winter sport enthusiasts, especially cross-country skiers looking for a brisk outing. Seventeen kilometers of trails are groomed and track-set for classical cross-country skiing; eight kilometers are groomed for skate skiing. A separate trail system is groomed for “skijoring,” or skiing with dogs. You can also go off track and explore the backcountry, or snowshoe alongside the ski trails.
